Work Philosophy
& Goals

My work philosophy is grounded in purpose, integrity, and continuous growth. I believe in doing work that matters, work that improves health, supports well-being, and creates meaningful change in people’s lives. Whether I’m in a clinical setting, serving in the military, or working one-on-one with clients, I strive to lead with compassion, science, and a whole-person approach. I value cohesive, collaborative teams, and I’m at my best in environments where mentorship, respect, and professional development are prioritized. Autonomy and ownership over my projects motivate me, while a balanced schedule allows me to be fully present in all aspects of my life, including work, studies, and personal pursuits.

As I advance in the field of nutrition and dietetics, my goals are both ambitious and grounded in service. I am committed to becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and utilizing that skill set to support diverse communities, including service members, patients navigating chronic diseases, and individuals striving to build healthier lives. I am passionate about medical nutrition therapy, nutrition security, and behavior-focused coaching, and I intend to build a career that blends clinical expertise with public health principles and performance optimization. In the long term, I plan to pursue a PhD to expand my research capabilities and open the door to a career in university teaching.

Across every role I pursue, whether in clinical, military, community, entrepreneurial, or academic settings, I aim to maintain balance, create positive change, and continuously learn. My ultimate vision is a career that is both impactful and sustainable, aligned with my values, and supportive of the life I want to build for myself and my future family.
